A school district in Texas seeks an AVID Tutor who will facilitate student access to rigorous curriculum. Responsibilities include maintaining a positive classroom environment, guiding students in AVID methodologies, and communicating effectively with AVID coordinators. Preferred qualifications include enrollment in a college or university and a minimum GPA of 2.5. The tutor should have a strong background in math and English Language Arts and complete required AVID training.
Salary is $17 per hour for non-certified tutors, $35 for certified.
