Job Title

Educational Aide I Paraprofessional Certificate

High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge of general office equipment

Ability to use/learn basic computer applications

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well with children

Experience working with children/students or parents; bilingual (preferred)

Perform receptionist/clerical duties in the office as assigned

Work with individual students or small groups to conduct instructional exercises as assigned

Maintain confidentiality of information

Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly work environment

Assist in supervising students throughout the school day as needed

Assist in the maintenance of administrative records and preparation of reports as required

Assist in inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment as assigned

Assist in preparing materials/displays for instruction or campus operations

Participate in staff development programs, faculty meetings, and special events, as required

Copier, multi-line telephone, facsimile, audiovisual equipment, and computer/peripherals

Maintain emotional control under stress

Work with frequent interruptions

Frequent requests to complete work in restrictive time frames

Moderate standing, stooping, bending

May be required to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance
