Afternoon Classroom Assistant (for Toddlers) — Full-Time On-Site About the Role

Waypoint Montessori is seeking a warm, dedicated Classroom Assistant for the afternoon shift in a Toddler classroom. In this role, you'll work alongside our lead teachers to create a nurturing, prepared environment where children can explore, discover, and grow at their own pace — the heart of authentic Montessori education. • Support the lead teacher in delivering the daily Montessori curriculum
• Guide and supervise children during work time, transitions, and outdoor play
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment
• Observe and document individual student progress
• Communicate warmly and professionally with families
• Assist with classroom preparation and material maintenance

• A genuine love for children and early childhood development
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• High school diploma required; early childhood education coursework preferred
• Prior experience in a childcare or classroom setting is a plus
• Familiarity with the Montessori philosophy is a bonus, but not required
