Shift: Hybrid – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

Network Services Delivery & Operations organization seeks an experienced Load Balancing Engineer to support Bank of America’s Load Balancing infrastructure. Responsibilities include building relationships with Line of Businesses, collaborating within a global team, and improving and maintaining Service Request Fulfillment (SRF) processes for the bank’s Load Balancing infrastructure.
Primary SkillData Virtualization – Composite & Data Fabric
Required Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of F5 LTM and GTM experience
- 1+ year of F5 APM and ASM experience
- 1+ year of AVI/VMware experience
- CCNP, F5 201, and/or demonstration of equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of BGP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, and SSL
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with other technical areas to define complex configuration designs
- Subject‑matter expertise of load balancer, DNS, SSL off‑loader
- Functional understanding of F5’s API iControl and application integration
- Expertise in application switching and traffic management; deep knowledge of application requirements such as persistence
- Understanding of SSL offload and implementation of SSL certificates, private key infrastructure (PKI) and rollover processes
- Expertise in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise‑level network security technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present at an executive level
- Experience managing large, globally dispersed teams of engineers
- 5‑7+ years of network engineering and/or technology management experience
- Ability to interact with clients at all levels
- Root cause analysis, risk mitigation, security assessments, threat‑trends analysis and architecture design
- Functional knowledge of F5 advanced feature modules (Web Accelerator, Application Security Module, Application Policy Module)
- Understanding of IT Service Management processes; ITIL certification preferred
- Python development and Bash scripting experience
- Use of mitigation methods including network packet filters and iRules
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

- Describe your experience working with LTM (Local Traffic Management) and GTM (Global Traffic Management).

Pay and BenefitsPay range: $65.00 – $70.00/hour. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
