The Ranger Group, a leading US Engineering Solutions provider to companies across the Aerospace & Defense, Medical Device, Electronics and Industrial Manufacturing industries, is currently seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for a Direct Hire role with a leading Manufacturing client in the Irving, TX Area. This role will require work to be completed 100% Onsite.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage electrical design projects from concept to completion, ensuring technical accuracy and project timelines are met.
- Develop electrical schematics and drawings using AutoCAD Electrical to meet project specifications.
- Design and troubleshoot electrical systems, including PLC programming (Allen Bradley and Siemens) and supporting integration into existing systems.
- Prepare detailed electrical calculations to support system designs and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution and integration of electrical components.
- Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff, ensuring the project team meets deadlines and quality standards.
- Work closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication and ensure client needs and expectations are met.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of Electrical Design experience with strong proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
- Minimum of 7 years of PLC Programming experience, specifically with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
- Experience in preparing electrical calculations to support design and project needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Skills:
- Experience working with high power motor systems and their integration into complex electrical systems.
- Previous team lead experience, with a willingness to take on leadership roles, mentor junior engineers, and motivate others.
