Overview
Kleinfelder is seeking an Entry Level Field Engineer for its Geotechnical team in Irving, Texas. The role supports field sampling, inspection, and laboratory activities for complex projects.
Responsibilities- Perform soil and groundwater sampling, logging, observations, and testing to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.
- Submit daily field reports and data summaries.
- Support laboratory testing activities.
- Conduct engineering calculations under the supervision of a professional engineer.
- Maintain project objectives and organizational goals set by the project manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Engineering in Training (EIT) license or ability to obtain within six months.
- Zero to three years of experience in geotechnical field engineering.
- Ability to read and review test procedures, standards, plans, and specifications.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
This position requires travel and/or night work.
