Job Summary
Position:
Aircraft Engine Maintenance Technician, Pratt & Whitney, Dallas, TX. Onsite. Reporting to Site Operations Leader.
- Perform aircraft engine maintenance on all models of Pratt & Whitney Commercial aircraft engines.
- Maintain a focus on quality of service and safety of customers and team members, ensuring all Environmental Health and Safety requirements, Pratt & Whitney/Raytheon Policy and Procedure and Customer/Regulatory Agency quality requirements are met.
- Assist the team in producing first‑class aircraft engine maintenance turnaround time through team collaboration and execution of RTX's CORE operating system and continuous improvement processes.
- Understand and follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engine Shop Manual procedures and/or other approved technical data when performing maintenance.
- Perform other supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required.
- Build internal and external relationships through good communication skills and understanding of customer perspectives.
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D.) with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in repair of commercial aircraft engines.
- Holder of a valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant license.
- Analytical skills and an analytical approach to problem solving.
- Highly motivated self‑starter and creative troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent judgment and professional maturity.
- Exceptional people and social skills, collaborative team player.
