Role: Our client is seeking a skilled design quality engineer who has taken electro mechanical devices from the back of a napkin through tech transfer into production. Our client develops surgical tools similar to robotics but in a different package and they have several products commercial and several in development that they need a design quality engineer to support development. The ideal candidate will have ,62304, and 13485.
The average day will be working with design engineers who design parts, software engineers working on the software, and help identify the key aspects for the design that require key quality characteristics and drive design controls into the manufacturing process. Beyond that this resource will build out the DHF and all supporting documents, design controls, test protocols, test reports, sample planning, statistical analysis, and preform the risk assessments utilizing 14971 to support design decisions.
