The Pratt & Whitney Mobile Services Dallas group is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician to support our FAR 145 repair station in Dallas, TX. This role requires a U.S. Person.
What You Will Do- Perform aircraft engine maintenance on all models of Pratt & Whitney Commercial aircraft engines.
- Have an incessant focus on the quality of the service you provide and the safety of our Customers and Team Members, ensuring all Environmental Health and Safety, Pratt & Whitney/Raytheon Policy and Procedure and Customer/Regulatory Agency quality requirements are met.
- Assist the team in producing first‑class aircraft engine maintenance turnaround time/response time through team collaboration and execution of RTX's CORE operating system and continuous improvement processes.
- Understand and follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engine Shop Manual procedures and/or other approved technical data when performing maintenance.
- Perform other supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required.
- Build internal and external relationships through good communication skills and understanding of customer perspectives.
- Willingness and ability to learn the skills required to perform aircraft engine inspections and/or lead maintenance activities both in shop and in the field at a Customer location.
- Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to domestic and international locations as required.
- The position is based in Dallas, TX reporting directly to the Field Service Supervisor at LMS.
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
- Holder of a valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant license.
- Minimum of six months of experience in repair of commercial aircraft engines.
- Clear communication skills.
