Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer/Designer will work in a multi-discipline team environment responsible for designing building systems and producing construction documentation for institutional projects across a variety of markets.

In this role, you will:

• Develop electrical distribution and emergency generator system designs and documentation in AutoCAD/Revit.
• Understand and design lighting systems, electrical, and fire alarm systems.
• Perform electrical load calculations and select and size equipment.
• Edit electrical system specifications.
• Survey existing buildings and identify electrical systems and components.
• Review submittals of equipment for compliance with the contract documents.
• Observe and report upon electrical construction work in progress.
• Interact with project team members and leaders.
• Support the Data Center and Mission Critical Group.

You will be a great fit if:

• You have an Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• You have 3‑5 years of experience designing electrical systems for various facilities.
• You have design experience in commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
• You have hands‑on experience with the latest versions of AutoCAD and Revit, MS Office, Outlook, and engineering calculation and performance simulation software.
