GRS is seeking a Senior Renewables & Data Center Project Developer
, who will drive the expansion of our US footprint by leading solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and data center projects from initial origination all the way to the Ready-to-Build (RTB) stage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Experience: 3+ years of direct experience performing project development duties within the renewable energy (Solar/BESS) and/or data center sectors.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong baseline understanding of electrical systems.
- Software
Skills: - Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package (especially Excel) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Experience with industry software like PVSyst, AutoCAD, ETAP, Presto, Cype Cad, or DMelect is considered a strong plus.
- Languages: Native English fluency; additional languages are a plus.
- Location: Ability to work full-time out of the GRS office in the Dallas area (Irving, TX).
- Lead & Execute: Drive the development lifecycle of solar, BESS, and data center projects across the US market.
- Site Analysis: Identify and analyze strategic locations for new project greenfield development.
- Permitting & Licensing: Manage critical studies, real estate, permits, and licensing required to advance projects to the RTB stage.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for public administrations, private entities, advisors, and service providers.
- Budget & Schedule Control: Monitor project progress closely, ensuring strict adherence to budgets, delivery requirements, and schedule control strategies.
- Technical Alignment: Ensure project scoping, engineering documents, and "Safety in Design" reviews align seamlessly with Gransolar standards and local legislation.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate technical, financial, and regulatory risks associated with project development.
- Collaboration: Provide active support, mentorship, and technical input to the US-based development team.
- Team Culture: Play an active role in motivating the team, driving a high-performance culture, and fostering continuous improvement and flexible skill sets.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver clear, timely project progress reports (weekly/monthly) for management.
