In this Senior Electrical Engineer role, you’ll steer projects from concept through completion, guiding in-house multidiscipline teams and making the critical decisions that keep complex work on time and on point.

You’ll lead the department day to day, mentor engineers on both technical depth and career growth, and be the face of the project with clients who expect excellence.

You’ll be the senior electrical authority across a wide range of building and infrastructure projects:

• All phases of electrical design from concept through construction completion
• Projects spanning various sizes, complexities, and building types
• Integrated work with in-house parallel disciplines
• Client-facing technical leadership and coordination
• Department-level technical standards and best practices
• Staff mentoring and development within the electrical group
• Project schedules, deliverables, and quality outcomes

The core challenge: balance deep technical rigor with clear leadership and project ownership.

• Leading electrical engineering efforts on projects from initial concept through construction
• Supervising staff on day-to-day technical tasks and project responsibilities
• Mentoring engineers in both technical skills and long-term career development
• Coordinating closely with multiple in-house disciplines to deliver integrated solutions
• Interfacing directly with clients as the senior electrical voice on the project
• Providing technical excellence, guidance, and quality control on all assigned work
• Managing project teams, schedules, and priorities to achieve successful outcomes
• Driving engineering decisions that align with project goals, budgets, and timelines
• Translating client needs into clear, actionable engineering direction for your team
• Serving as a leader within the department and setting the tone for performance

• Degree in electrical engineering or closely related area of expertise
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 15+ years of experience in an architecture/engineering (A/E) environment
• Proven success managing engineering projects and delivering results
• Strong electrical engineering expertise in your field
• Working knowledge of parallel disciplines and how they integrate with electrical
• Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and mentor engineering staff
• Comfort operating as the primary technical and client-facing leader on projects

This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in the office in the Irving, TX area.

Professional Engineer (PE) licensure and 15+ years of experience in an A/E environment are required.
