THE ROLEThe Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory is seeking Security Crew Members for our 2026 concert season. The role is essential to creating a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment for guests, artists, and staff. Ideal candidates thrive in high‑energy environments, enjoy live entertainment, and are passionate about hospitality and fan satisfaction.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO- Maintain a visible presence throughout the venue to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of guests and staff.
- Monitor and control access points, authorizing the entry and exit of guests, employees, and authorized personnel.
- Patrol venue grounds to prevent and identify safety concerns, unauthorized access, or suspicious activity.
- Screen individuals and belongings using detection equipment to prevent prohibited items from entering restricted areas.
- Respond proactively and professionally to potential issues, de‑escalating situations when necessary.
- Document daily activities and incidents, including safety concerns, property damage, or unusual occurrences.
- Protect venue property and assist in maintaining an orderly, welcoming environment.
- Support the venue’s CARE sustainability initiatives by participating in recycling, waste reduction, and guest education efforts.
- Collaborate with team members during post‑event venue close, including collecting recyclables, restoring guest areas, and properly storing event equipment.
- Level 2 Security License required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already held)
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures in a public venue environment.
- Ability to remain professional in appearance and conduct while making sound, independent decisions within established policies.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent judgment with tact and diplomacy in guest‑facing situations.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Physical ability to meet job demands, including constant walking, stair climbing, lifting and carrying 25 lbs+ and sitting or standing for extended periods.
