Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for timely and accurate completion of quarterly and annual SEC filings, Irish Annual Statutory filing and other regulatory filings, including coordination with external auditors
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration for preparation and review of additional regulatory filings (e.g. Proxy, Form 8-Ks, etc.)
- Develop and manage quarterly Regulatory Reporting close schedules, and prepare materials to support leadership review
- Oversee extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) taxonomy selections and ensure timely accurate XBRL filings
- Supervise, coach, mentor and review the work of the Regulatory Reporting team
- Serve as a key SEC and accounting resource to respond to questions from senior management and key stakeholders, including Finance, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, Legal, Strategic Planning and Analysis
- Treasury and Tax
- Work with the Accounting Policies team to monitor new accounting and SEC standards and understand their impact on financial statements and disclosures
- Oversee the global pension accounting process
- Oversee the annual fair value analysis
- Ensure compliance with all Regulatory Reporting internal controls
- Manage the Regulatory Reporting cloud-based tool (Workiva) used for SEC and other regulatory filings
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of Finance or Accounting experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA
Preferred Qualifications
- Public accounting (Big Four preferred) and/or industry experience in a global organization that includes SEC reporting or technical accounting responsibilities (not necessarily in services industry)
- Experience in technical accounting research and implementation of new standards and/or SEC requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Demonstrated leadership in professional setting, including ability to lead complex work efforts and solve complex issues
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
