LHH has partnered with a Manufacturuing company thar is seeking a Cash Applications Supervisor with at least 3 years of supervisory experience. The role is located in Irving, TX and will be working onsite. The role is offering compensation of $75,, depending on experience. The role is Direct Hire and looking to hire immediately.
ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end cash application operations across all payment channels, including lockbox, ACH, wire, credit card, and electronic payment platforms
Oversee and govern lockbox operations, ensuring exception items are researched, resolved, and escalated appropriately
Direct and review daily bank activity and reconciliations, ensuring cash balances are fully reconciled, explained, and compliant with internal control standards
Maintain strong oversight of unapplied cash, driving root-cause analysis, corrective action plans, and measurable reductions
Ensure cash application processes adhere to industry standards, audit requirements, and internal policies
Serve as a key liaison with Treasury to ensure alignment between cash posting, bank activity, and cash forecasting
Prepare, analyze, and present cash application metrics, trends, and risk indicators to AR leadership and finance stakeholders
Support accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including audit requests and management reporting
Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Leadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing cash application team, setting clear expectations and accountability
Establish performance metrics and service-level standards to support consistent execution across the team
Provide strategic cash function support to branches across the company’s footprint, ensuring timely issue resolution and consistent service
Act as an escalation point for complex or high-risk payment issues impacting customers or branch operations
Ensure cash application processes support a positive customer experience while protecting company interests
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred not a must
5–7+ years of experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or treasury operations
2–3+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong expertise in lockbox processing, ACH and wire transactions, bank reconciliations, and cash controls
ERP experience required (Net Suite preferred)
Working knowledge of SOX controls, audit support, and financial governance
