This position will be posted until filled. As a member of the Commercial Lending Operations group, the Analyst independently reviews and analyzes data generated through the floorplan audit function. The role monitors policies and procedures related to inventory auditing, reviews audit results, interfaces with on‑site auditors and outsource vendors, evaluates audit data, identifies risk, reports on audit trends, and establishes appropriate actions to limit risk.
Responsibilities- Review and evaluate the floorplan inventory audit results.
- Monitor portfolio performance, evaluate audit and related data to identify and communicate high‑risk situations.
- Recommend appropriate audit frequency based on policy and apparent risk.
- Participate in on‑site audits where risk necessitates involvement.
- Report on audit related data.
- Interface with dealer personnel to clear audit exceptions.
- Support inventory floorplan aspects of problem account handling, including dealers with status of SOT, bankruptcy, or liquidation.
- Support workout group in managing liquidations.
- Participate in the onsite due diligence and dealership monitoring processes as needed.
- Evaluate and report on performance of audit vendor for scheduling and quality metrics purposes.
- Understanding of automotive dealership operations.
- Understanding of commercial lending with emphasis in captive automotive dealership financing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis and dealer workouts.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Persuasive communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to interface with all levels of management.
- Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work.
- Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
- Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights.
- Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection.
- High School Diploma or equivalent – required.
- Associate Degree – preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience – preferred.
- Master’s Degree – preferred.
