Software Engineer - Financial Systems

This position will report directly to the Associate Director of Engineer-Software Financial Systems, and will primarily work with Financial Systems team members, accountants, and planners to ensure that the Finance Organization receives support and administration required to meet the diverse needs of the entire organization.

Support Oracle ERP Financials, including integration with subledger and reporting applications.

Participate in projects to grow, upgrade, or improve Financial Systems support for One Main.

Create specifications, testing and implementing new programming to meet user and One Main needs.

Oversee controls to ensure integrity and compliance with federal regulations and corporate policies.

• Enabling cross-department support and continuity.
• Participating in projects to enhance or grow the level of support provided.
• Working with internal business partners to resolve issues and maintain relationships.
• Designing, testing, and supporting applications or processes needed to fulfill business audit requirements.
• Coordinating the testing and implementation of new programming.

• 1+ years of Financial Systems experience, supporting accounting and reporting systems.
• 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including use of general ledger and reporting cubes.
• Experience with SQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, MIS or Data Science preferred.
