Senior Asset Manager

Greystone is seeking a Senior Healthcare Asset Manager to be based in either Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX. The role will lead the development of an internal bridge asset management function within our bridge lending platform, which has originated over $13 billion of bridge loans since 2004.

• Work closely with borrowers, property management agents and Greystone’s servicing team to collect, normalise and analyse financial and operating statements.
• Assess progress against the asset business plan underwritten at loan closing and prepare periodic reports for co‑investors and warehouse line providers.
• Handle a portfolio of highly complex and high‑profile assets, creating solutions to bring underperforming or delinquent loans back to performing status.
• Prepare action plans and recommendations on troubled assets for presentation to senior management and investors.
• Understand loan documentation and real‑estate on a business level, and conduct property inspections as required.
• Maintain familiarity with third‑party reports such as Physical Needs Assessments, Appraisals and Broker Opinion of Value.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Ten to fifteen years of real‑estate lending and/or asset management experience, preferably with healthcare properties.
• Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills with well‑developed negotiation ability.
• Ability to exercise intellectual honesty in presenting information and to navigate special projects with minimal oversight.
• Consistently deliver high‑quality work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Coordination experience with internal departments such as Finance, Legal, Accounting and Loan Servicing.
