Senior Accountant - Irving - On-Site

LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing and dynamic manufacturing organization. This role will be a key contributor within the accounting and finance team, supporting month-end close, financial analysis, and budgeting activities. The ideal candidate brings strong general accounting experience, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to resolve issues and improve processes.

• Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries related to accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, and accrued expenses
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and review supporting subledgers to ensure accuracy of balances
• Support vendor rebate filings and related reconciliations
• Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies
• Prepare cost and profitability trend analyses to support operational decision making
• Respond to internal inquiries related to branch or operational financial performance
• Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
• Conduct variance analysis, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
• Participate in ad hoc analyses and special projects supporting the accounting and finance team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 5+ years of experience in general accounting and financial analysis
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
