Senior Financial Analyst - Hybrid - Irving

LHH is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a manufacturing client. This role offers strong exposure to operational finance, forecasting, and decision support within a stable yet evolving business. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in financial modeling, planning, and analysis, paired with the ability to translate data into insights that influence leadership decisions. This position partners closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to support performance, growth initiatives, and capital investments.

• Develop and maintain financial models to project performance and assess trends, risks, and opportunities
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for an assigned operating unit
• Perform detailed plan and forecast versus actual variance analysis with a focus on gap identification and resolution
• Evaluate capital investment proposals to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and return expectations
• Build and maintain financial dashboards and key performance metrics for leadership reporting
• Support month-end close activities to ensure expenses are accurately captured and analyzed
• Analyze financial results, identify performance drivers, and recommend appropriate actions
• Partner with finance leadership to align operating unit goals with broader divisional and corporate strategies
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and maintain a strong control environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
• Strong financial statement modeling and analytical capabilities
• Proven ability to interpret complex data and clearly communicate insights to management
• High level of curiosity around profit drivers and operational performance
• Experience working with large ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
• Willingness to travel up to 10%
• Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry experience is a plus
