Sr. M&A Analyst
McKesson's Corporate Development team is seeking a Sr. M&A Analyst to support the evaluation and execution of inorganic growth opportunities across the enterprise. This role will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional partners to analyze acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and other strategic transactions.
The position requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights that support executive decision-making.
The Sr. M&A Analyst is a hands-on contributor responsible for supporting the Corporate Development team across the full transaction lifecycle, including sourcing, evaluation, and execution. This individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to deliver financial analysis, market insights, and transaction coordination.
This role reports into Corporate Development leadership and partners closely with business units, finance, legal, and strategy teams.

Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in:
- Investment banking
- Corporate development
- Private equity / venture capital
- Transaction advisory or strategy
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field
Critical Skills
- Financial analysis and valuation:
Strong foundation in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and analysis of company performance. - Research and market insight:
Ability to synthesize market data, competitive intelligence, and industry trends into actionable insights. - Problem-solving:
Structured thinker capable of breaking down complex business problems and identifying key drivers. - Communication:
Ability to clearly communicate analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders. - Attention to detail:
High degree of accuracy in financial analysis and deliverables. - Collaboration:
Effective team player with experience working across cross-functional environments. - Project coordination:
Ability to manage multiple work streams and priorities simultaneously.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Experience supporting M&A transactions or strategic initiatives preferred
- Familiarity with financial tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, CapIQ, or Pitch Book
- Exposure to working with external advisors (investment bankers, consultants, legal teams) preferred
- Healthcare or related industry experience preferred
Education
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$100,800 - $168,000
