Entry-Level Commerical Loan Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Representative I to support daily commercial loan servicing activities within a large financial services environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in banking operations, loan servicing, mortgage servicing, financial services operations, or customer support functions who are looking to grow their career in commercial banking.

The Loan Servicing Representative will be responsible for processing loan transactions, maintaining accurate records, researching and resolving issues, and partnering with internal teams to ensure a high level of service and operational accuracy.

• Process routine loan servicing transactions, including payments, payoffs, advances, and account maintenance activities.
• Review and update loan information to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
• Research and resolve servicing inquiries, account discrepancies, and operational issues.
• Reconcile loan-related information and work with internal partners to address exceptions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support audit and compliance requirements.
• Partner with various teams to ensure timely and accurate servicing of commercial loan accounts.
• Follow established procedures and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders.

• 1+ years of experience in banking operations, loan servicing, financial services, mortgage servicing, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience performing data entry, research, reconciliation, or transaction processing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Experience supporting commercial loans or banking operations.
• Familiarity with loan servicing systems.
• Exposure to reconciliations, exception processing, or operational investigations.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives.
• LoanIQ experience is a plus, but not required.
