Role Description The Federal Program Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, supporting public schools and non-profit organizations with federally funded program administration. This role oversees the implementation and compliance of federal education and grant programs, including monitoring budgets, timelines, and reporting requirements. The specialist collaborates with school leaders and non-profit partners to interpret federal guidelines, prepare documentation, and ensure that programs align with organizational goals and regulatory standards.

Daily tasks include analyzing program data, maintaining detailed records, drafting reports and guidance materials, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves providing training and support to client staff on federal program processes, helping them navigate requirements and optimize available resources.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong program management skills, including experience planning, coordinating, and monitoring federal or grant-funded initiatives.
  • Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret regulations, analyze financial and program data, and identify trends or compliance risks.
  • Candidates should possess communication skills to convey complex federal requirements clearly, write reports and guidance, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess training and customer service skills to develop and deliver trainings, provide responsive support, and build trust-based client relationships.
  • Knowledge of federal education programs, grants management, or public-sector funding processes is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, finance, business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) preferred.
  • Experience working with public schools, charter schools, or non-profit organizations is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, manage multiple projects, and maintain high attention to detail.
