Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas is hiring a PRN Medical Assistant for the Post‑Surgical Unit, covering night and day shifts as needed.
Responsibilities- Perform clerical duties including distribution of messages.
- Assist patients to the restroom, remove IV catheters, and use under RN direction.
- Clean rooms as required.
- Assist RNs as instructed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Medical Assistant Certification, or equivalent preferred.
- BLS required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Previous experience with Electronic Health Records helpful.
- Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.
- Life and AD&D coverage.
