Corner Stone Medical is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join an upscale outpatient surgery center in Irving, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Surgical Tech looking for a consistent part-time schedule in a professional, high-quality surgical environment.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience

Surgical Experience Required The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of surgical procedures, including:

Bariatric Surgery Spine Surgery Laparoscopic Procedures Hand Surgery General Surgery Responsibilities Prepare  operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures

Assist the surgical team during procedures while maintaining a sterile field

Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other members of the surgical team Perform surgical counts and maintain accurate documentation

Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures

Follow all infection-control and patient-safety standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile surgical environment

Requirements

Current CST certification requiredBLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience

Recent experience in bariatrics, spine/laparoscopic, hand, and general surgery

Current required immunizations

Successful background check

Successful drug screening

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures
