Role Overview

Provides comprehensive healthcare in designated primary or specialty areas, including patient diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals. Serves as a clinical resource and role model, overseeing training, evaluation, and management of practitioners and students to ensure high-quality patient care. Supports leadership in planning and implementing advanced practice provider activities.

Holds relevant licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Clinical Nurse Specialist, with current BLS certification. Demonstrates strong clinical, leadership, communication, and patient-centered skills. Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies is essential. Ability to collaborate across disciplines and stay current with industry developments.

Perform clinical duties including patient histories, exams, assessments, and diagnostics. Document findings and care plans accurately, involving patients and families in decision-making. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction. Maintain certifications, adhere to legal and organizational standards, and participate in ongoing professional development. Engage in process improvement, contribute to departmental goals, and support organizational missions.
