Position: Thursday Caregiver Shift Available! Apply Today!

Part-time Shift Available, Thursdays 9:30am to 2:30pm weekly

We are actively seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team immediately! This is a dedicated part time shift every Thursday 9:30am to 2:30pm for a male client with MS. This rewarding role involves providing exceptional support and care to our client in his home environment. As a caregiver, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve by delivering personalized assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support, transfer assistance and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor client observations to ensure safety and health compliance.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support tailored to individual needs, including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorder support.
  • Prepare nutritious meals aligned with care plans while ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
  • Support clients with personal transportation needs for appointments or community outings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and care plans; communicate effectively with clients’ families and healthcare teams.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to promote overall well-being.
Experience
  • Prior experience working in group homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to observe clients closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
  • Familiarity with dementia care practices such as memory care strategies and Alzheimer’s support.
  • Transfer experience required
