Position: Mid-Cities Caregiver Needed – Personal Care & Dementia Specialist

Memory Care & Specialized Support Provide dedicated, safe care for clients living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.

Utilize effective communication techniques such as active listening, patience, gentle reassurance, and verbal redirection when managing cognitive or behavioral changes.

Promote a calm, safe, and structured environment tailored to memory care needs.

Household & Daily Support Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to dietary restrictions and providing feeding assistance when necessary.

Perform light housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, dishwashing, maintaining clean living spaces, and managing laundry.

Encourage client independence by engaging them in physical, mental, and social activities as appropriate.

Documentation & Safety Observe, document, and report any notable physical, cognitive, or behavioral changes in client status to the care management team.

Adhere strictly to the established Plan of Care and safety protocols to protect clients and yourself.

Candidate Qualifications We are looking for reliable professionals who meet the following requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience in a home care, facility, or healthcare setting.

Hands-On

Skills:

Proven experience delivering personal care (ADLs) and executing safe physical transfers.

Memory Care Background:
Direct experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia.

Driver Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance.

Professional Traits:
High level of patience, empathy, strong communication skills, and an uncompromising commitment to safety.

Compliance:
Ability to pass required background checks and complete mandatory company training modules.
