Responsibilities- Supervise all activities within the venue operations department with a focus on the guest experience and day‑to‑day operations.
- Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of event and warehouse staff.
- Directly manage event day staff while interacting directly with customers.
- Maintain and control high‑volume food and beverage inventory.
- Lead venue operations in direction of the general manager.
- Support the general manager with supervision of staff.
- Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures.
- Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality.
- Ensure all cash‑handling procedures are documented and enforced.
- Interact with co‑workers to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
- Conduct physical audit of inventory and product, research and perform reconciliations.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, excellent time‑management and prioritizing skills.
- Meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service.
- Capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
- Fluent in English.
- Able to work outdoors during all climate conditions.
- Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds up and down stairs/ramps.
- Available to work all venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Mobility sufficient to perform constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
- Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures, and complete required safety training.
- Report all safety incidents to the company’s risk management system on the same day they occur.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
