Job Summary
The Guest Service Associate is responsible for delivering outstanding hospitality services to guests, ensuring a welcoming experience from arrival to departure. Duties include valet parking, luggage assistance, concierge support, and general guest assistance.
Essential Functions- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co‑workers, and clients.
- Greet guests within five feet, acknowledging them with the day’s salutation and friendly tone.
- Parks and retrieves vehicles safely, driving slowly and cautiously.
- Assists guests with bell services, luggage storage, and access to vehicle and hotel doors.
- Provides directions, taxi coordination, reservations, and information about outlets, meeting rooms, or local attractions.
- Handles parking rates, signs guests, issues claim checks, and records vehicle information in the valet system.
- Calculates and collects vehicle revenue when required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
- Minimum one month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English language and simple instructions.
- Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and understanding of 24‑hour time.
- Desire or ability to operate a manual transmission; parallel parking highly desirable.

Working Conditions & Physical DemandsWork is primarily outdoors, exposing employees to extreme heat and cold weather. Duties involve sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, climbing stairs, and handling up to 100 pounds occasionally. Employees must be able to run, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
Employment TermWork schedule is shift‑based, typically 11:00pm to 7:00am, with hours dependent on resort business volumes. The position is qualified as seasonal/temporary and does not include benefits outside those listed above.
