Banquet Houseperson

Join Marriott as a Banquet Houseperson in our Food & Beverage Operations team, supporting exceptional events in a dynamic hospitality environment. You'll set up and break down banquet rooms, arrange furniture and equipment, maintain clean, organized event spaces, and assist with room resets and changes. Working closely with banquet and culinary teams, you'll ensure events run smoothly while upholding Marriott's high standards of safety, service, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms per event specifications, arranging tables, chairs, stages, and equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of event spaces, storage areas, and service corridors.
• Safely move, lift, and store furniture, supplies, and audio/visual equipment.
• Support banquet servers and supervisors with room resets, refreshes, and event changes.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and Marriott brand standards at all times.
• Respond promptly to guest and event team requests, ensuring a welcoming, service-focused environment.
