The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for leading the successful onboarding of new talent. The Onboarding Specialist will report to the Benefits/Payroll Manager and work with the Employee Development Specialists and/or Profit Center Managers to ensure successful completion of the hiring and onboarding processes. The Onboarding Specialist embodies the company core values of honesty, integrity, empowerment, hard work and continuous improvement, and makes safety and security of sensitive information a priority.

Responsibilities
  • Handles incoming calls/emails relating to the onboarding process
  • Initiates pre-employment screenings as necessary
  • Processes offer letters with attention to detail
  • Initiates and makes outbound calls/emails relating to onboarding process and/or documents received
  • Follows up with manager(s) to ensure completion of onboarding processes in a timely manner
  • Processes new hires in UKG and initiates communication with employee to ensure they have access to the system
  • Supports Internal communications, when applicable
  • Supports ad hoc reporting, administrative tasks as needed
  • Ensures service award dates are correct in UKG
  • Processes service awards via communication with vendor and payroll
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and flexible
  • Experience with UKG preferred
Working Conditions
  • Work may be sedentary at times: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently.
  • In office with opportunity for hybrid schedule after 2 months
