Senior Bilingual Skilled Trades Recruiter

Position Summary

This individual will focus on sourcing, recruiting, and hiring skilled field employees (electricians, apprentices, and other construction professionals). The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, understands the construction/electrical workforce, and thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.

• Manage full cycle recruiting for field positions including electricians, apprentices, and skilled labor.
• Source candidates through job boards, referrals, community outreach, trade schools, and industry networks.
• Conduct candidate screenings, schedule interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions with hiring managers.
• Build strong relationships with field employees, hiring managers, and key stakeholders to understand staffing needs.
• Attend job fairs, community events, and workforce programs to promote career opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
• Partner with HR to support onboarding, new hire orientations, and workforce integration.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations during recruitment processes.
• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide hiring reports as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed to support projects, operations, and the department.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in the construction, electrical, skill trades industry OR if you have hands‑on electrical experience who's interested in pivoting to a recruiter role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and previous ATS experience.
• Must be bilingual—fluent in English and Spanish (both oral and written).

• Strong knowledge of field recruiting, sourcing strategies and workforce engagement.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Drive to recruit out in the field promoting CEC as an employer of choice.

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

• Requires mobility within an office environment. Regularly required to talk and hear. Effectively communicate with others both written and orally, including using the telephone.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• The employee may be required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and bend.
• May be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Possess good hearing, normal or corrected.
• The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• May require climb stairs.
• Must work 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, with overtime, nights, or weekends as needed.
