The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for leading the successful onboarding of new talent. Reporting to the Benefits/Payroll Manager and working with the HR team to ensure successful completion of the hiring and onboarding processes.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Handles incoming calls/emails relating to the onboarding process
  • Initiates pre-employment screenings as necessary
  • Processes offer letters with attention to detail
  • Initiates and makes outbound calls/emails relating to onboarding process and/or documents received
  • Follows up with manager(s) to ensure completion of onboarding processes in a timely manner
  • Processes new hires in UKG and initiates communication with employee to ensure they have access to the system
  • Supports Internal communications, when applicable
  • Supports ad hoc reporting, administrative tasks as needed
  • Tracking service award dates'
  • Processes service awards via communication with vendor and payroll

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and flexible
  • Experience with UKG preferred
