Human Resource Generalist
General SummaryThe Human Resource Generalist is responsible for assuring the proper, fair treatment of employees including the completion of such tasks as recruiting, onboarding, orientation, record keeping, effective managing of employee relations, benefits administration, and also assists in helping the Agency deal with the workforce in ways that enhance morale and productivity. The Human Resource Generalist implements and utilizes practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Additionally, the Human Resource Generalist assists and advises Company Executives and Managers about HR issues.

Requirements Experience- Two years, Human Resource experience.
- One-year Home Health experience.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all segments of the staff, and the Agency leadership team.
- Shall be able to read, write and comprehend English.
- Knowledge of office machines preferred.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- High School Graduate
- College Associates degree or higher
- PHR or SPHR a plus
- Current driver’s license in good standing. It is the responsibility of the employee to renew their driver’s license before it expires in order to continue employment.
- Prolonged sitting and standing required.
- Occasional need to lift, pull, carry and push items weighing up to twenty pounds.
- Frequent need to stoop, kneel and reach while accessing files.
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner at all times.
- Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and Agency needs.
- Works in a routine office environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and extended hours, as needed.
- Ability to travel to Agency offices.
- Some exposure to unpleasant weather.
