ABM is hiring a Site HR Partner to support all HR related functions for approximately 650 ABM janitorial, cabin cleaning and passenger assist frontline employees and managers at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Includes payroll and benefits questions or concerns, administration of labor contracts, training, employee relations, recruiting, policy and law interpretation and adherence, etc. Role focuses on hourly workforce. May supervise other clerical professionals.

Advises unit level management regarding policies and programs including recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, training, AAP/EEO, leave of absences, and special projects. May contribute to the development of unit specific policies or programs. Bilingual/Spanish-speaking ability is strongly preferred.

Education/Training

Preferred:

* BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related discipline.

Job Knowledge/Experience

Required:

* Minimum 2 years prior Human Resource generalist experience including employee relations/conducting employment investigations.

Preferred:

* SPHR or PHR

Language/Writing/Communication Requirements

Required:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in English. An intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and other business software.

Business Partner

* Serves as an active business partner and coach to managers and provides guidance on hourly employee performance issues by applying various performance management techniques for conflict resolution.

* Provides HR support in the areas of development & coaching, performance management, workplace investigations, developing and implementing management and employee development programs, and implementing effective diversity initiatives.

* Influences management decisions by delivering pro-active advice and counsel to leaders, while maintaining integrity with HR policy and practice and seeking creative solutions to problems.

* Supports and/or leads the execution of HR initiatives with the direction of the Director/Sr. HR Manager. Develops and delivers training programs that support HR initiatives.

* Builds rapport with the corporate and field employees and help improve productivity by serving as a subject matter expert in the areas of HR practices.

Onboarding & Recruitment

* Collaborates with the Operations Leadership and Talent Acquisition team on the recruitment and selection process of staff.

* Ensures a positive candidate experience.

* Maintains compliance with internal hiring practices and external employment law applications.
