The Sr Benefits Specialist is a vital contributor to Team Car Care’s business. Success in this fast-paced retail environment requires creativity, strong organizational skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
HOW YOU WILL DRIVE SUCCESS:
Key Responsibilities Benefits Program Management:
Oversee health, wellness, retirement, and other benefits programs, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and organizational standards
Employee
Education:
Provide guidance and resources to employees on benefit options, enrollment, and usage one-on-one sessions, and educational materials
Vendor Management:
Collaborate with vendors and consultants to optimize, and manage program offerings
Data Analysis:
Analyze benefits utilization and effectiveness to recommend improvements
Compliance Oversight:
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations
Internal Coordination:
Work with HR, finance, and management to align benefits with budget and strategic objectives
Open Enrollment & Administration:
Coordinate annual open enrollment, manage enrollment processes, and resolve benefit-related inquiries
Claims & Leave Processing:
Track and process health insurance claims, leaves of absence, and related payments
Policy Development:
Create and maintain procedures and policies for benefits administrationUNDER THE HOOD –
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
5–10 years of progressive experience in benefits administration
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Products (excel, word, etc)
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey insights with all levels of employees
Ability to maintain confidentialityHRIS experience (Workday a plus, but not required)
