Summary

In this role, you will deliver strategic and operational Human Resources (HR) consulting services to healthcare clients, leveraging advanced data analysis and subject matter expertise to drive organizational effectiveness. You will lead project execution, develop actionable insights, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance HR programs and outcomes. You will also manage client relationships, present recommendations to senior leaders, and contribute to the development of tools, methodologies, and intellectual capital.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic negotiation and renegotiation of HR vendor contracts, including benefits, recruitment, learning and development, workforce management, and outsourced services, achieving measurable cost savings while maintaining service quality.
  • Analyze HR spending, supplier agreements, and operational processes to identify cost‑reduction opportunities through vendor consolidation, process optimization, competitive bidding, contract restructuring, and enhanced vendor performance management.
  • Partner with HR executive leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to develop and implement cost‑containment and workforce optimization strategies that improve budget efficiency and support organizational objectives.
  • Provide consulting expertise on HR and workforce cost optimization initiatives, delivering sustainable savings through data‑driven recommendations, contract governance improvements, and operational efficiency enhancements.
  • Facilitate client meetings, present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, and manage client relationships to align expectations with project objectives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across HR disciplines, including employee relations, talent management, compensation, employment law compliance, and HR policy interpretation.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR programs, tools, and initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve HR operations and achieve project objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual capital, tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, SPHR).
  • 5 or more years of relevant Human Resources experience required, including experience in healthcare, hospital, or consulting environments.
  • Demonstrated experience advising leaders and managing complex HR initiatives across employee relations, talent management, compensation, workforce planning, organizational development, and performance management.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, including experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, reporting tools, HR analytics, workforce analytics, labor productivity, or healthcare benchmarking data preferred.
  • Experience leading projects, managing timelines, and coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to advise clients on employee benefits administration and related HR programs, including plan operations, employee experience, vendor management, and compliance with applicable regulations. Experience supporting healthcare employee benefits strategy and administration preferred.
  • Prior healthcare consulting experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $.

This position is also incentive eligible.
