Hollman, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-quality lockers and workspace solutions serving fitness facilities, country clubs, collegiate and professional athletic organizations, corporate environments, and other premier facilities across the country.
As Hollman continues to grow, we are expanding our Human Resources team and seeking an experienced, organized, and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to support approximately 300 employees.
Position SummaryThe HR Generalist will report to the HR Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day execution of key Human Resources functions, including:
Employee relations
Recruiting and onboarding
Benefits administration
FMLA, ADA, and leave administration
Workers' compensation
Attendance and timekeeping
HRIS administration
Employee documentation
Training and compliance
Offboarding and employee changes
This is a hands-on, on-site HR position supporting both hourly manufacturing employees and salaried employees.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required. A significant portion of Hollman's workforce is Spanish-speaking, and this position must be able to independently communicate HR policies, benefits, employee concerns, corrective actions, onboarding information, and other HR matters in both languages.
Key Responsibilities Employee RelationsServe as a primary HR contact for employees and managers.
Respond directly to employee questions and concerns in English and Spanish.
Support employee relations investigations, corrective actions, performance issues, attendance concerns, and workplace complaints.
Prepare accurate documentation related to employee relations matters.
Coach managers on routine employee and attendance issues.
Escalate complex or high-risk matters to the HR Manager.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently.
Onboarding & OffboardingManage the onboarding process from accepted offer through the employee's first weeks of employment.
Prepare and maintain all required new-hire documentation.
Complete and maintain Form I-9 documentation.
Coordinate background checks and other pre-employment requirements.
Conduct or support new-hire orientation in English and Spanish.
Ensure required policies, acknowledgments, and training are completed.
Process employee transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and terminations.
Coordinate offboarding documentation and exit procedures.
Paycor, Timekeeping & Employee RecordsMaintain accurate employee records in Paycor
.
Process position, compensation, status, reporting structure, and other employee changes.
Respond to employee and manager Paycor questions.
Administer attendance, timekeeping, and PTO records.
Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files.
Audit HRIS and employee records for accuracy and completeness.
Work with payroll to resolve employee pay and timekeeping discrepancies.
Manage recruiting activities for assigned hourly and salaried positions.
Post job openings and source qualified candidates.
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Maintain timely communication with candidates.
Prepare offer letters and coordinate pre-employment requirements.
Support recruiting and candidate communication in both English and Spanish.
Maintain an organized and professional candidate experience.
Benefits & Leave AdministrationRespond to employee benefits questions and enrollment needs.
Process qualifying life events and benefit changes.
Administer FMLA documentation and leave tracking under the direction of the HR Manager.
Support ADA accommodation documentation and the interactive process.
Coordinate workers' compensation documentation and return-to-work processes.
Maintain accurate benefits and leave records.
Explain benefits and leave information clearly in both English and Spanish.
Training & ComplianceTrack required employee and manager training.
Coordinate new-hire and recurring workplace training.
Maintain training records and acknowledgments.
Administer HR policies and handbook requirements.
Maintain required HR documentation and records.
Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements.
Assist with HR audits and compliance reviews.
Communicate HR policies and procedures to employees in English and Spanish.
HR Administration & ProjectsMaintain HR calendars, trackers, deadlines, and open action items.
Prepare HR reports and employee information as requested.
Document HR procedures and standard operating processes.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
