This is a hands‑on, entry‑level recruiting position for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast‑moving environment, and wants to build a career in staffing and recruiting. The Junior Recruiter serves as an important point of contact for candidates and field employees while supporting the branch recruiting team with sourcing, screening, hiring, onboarding, and administrative responsibilities.

What You’ll Do
  • Source and pre‑screen candidates for open positions.
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Post and update job openings across recruiting platforms and respond to applicants promptly.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and assist with scheduling and preparing candidates for interviews.
  • Support candidates throughout the application, hiring, onboarding, and documentation process.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates and field employees throughout the hiring and assignment process.
  • Assist recruiters with filling high‑volume and priority job orders.
  • Serve as a point of contact for field employees and help address questions, attendance matters, and assignment‑related needs.
  • Maintain accurate candidate, employee, client, job‑order, assignment, and timesheet information.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure field‑employee timekeeping information is accurate and submitted timely.
  • Provide responsive customer service to candidates, field employees, clients, callers, and office visitors.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of candidate, field‑employee, and client communications and activities.
  • Assist with client and candidate relationship management.
  • Support branch operations and other team members with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Participate in branch meetings, training programs, safety initiatives, and process‑improvement efforts.
  • Assist with opening and closing the branch office as scheduled.
  • Participate in the branch’s rotating on‑call schedule, which may require occasional availability outside normal business hours.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are required.

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn recruiting and staffing systems.
  • Flexibility to assist with changing branch needs and priorities.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience
  • Recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or administrative experience.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced office or customer‑facing environment.
  • Experience sourcing, screening, or communicating with job candidates.
  • Experience with job boards, applicant tracking systems, or other recruiting platforms.
