QA Tester – ETL​/SQL​/Hadoop

We are seeking an experienced QA Tester with strong expertise in ETL testing, SQL Server, and data pipeline validation. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of manual and automated testing experience, along with a working knowledge of Hadoop ecosystems. This role requires deep integration testing skills to ensure data integrity and quality across enterprise-level systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for ETL processes, data transformations, and integrations.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to validate data accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct integration testing across data pipelines, applications, and systems.
• Utilize Microsoft SQL Server to validate data flows, write complex queries, and perform in-depth data analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to resolve defects and improve data quality.
• Validate data pipelines running in Hadoop ecosystems and ensure accurate ingestion and transformation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (complex queries, stored procedures, data validation).
• 4–6 years of experience in ETL testing.
• 4–6 years of experience in integration testing.
• 4–6 years of experience in both manual and automated QA environments.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, Pig, HDFS, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting tools.
• Familiarity with tools like Informatica, Talend, or Apache Ni Fi for ETL workflows.
• Strong communication and defect tracking skills.
