Play a lead role in the full lifecycle of development from conception including performing analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment of applications working primarily in Java technologies. Provide technical knowledge and expertise to support the client in the design, development, and integration of solutions for applications. Perform troubleshooting of application development issues and responsible for determining appropriate technical resolution. Create and maintain complex projects, executive dashboards, and kanban boards in Jira.

Use Groovy scripts on Script Runner module to create custom scripts for Jira. Work on Jira Query Language (JQL) and create filters for searching the required issues. Create and manage new workflows, structures, screens, fields, issue types, priorities, and components. Implement automation testing in xray plugin using selenium framework. Responsible for evaluating and documenting the third party vendor plugins which are useful for customization of Jira and Confluence.

Administer all Atlassian suite of Tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Crucible/Fisheye and Crowd. Perform testing of the new Jira features in the sandbox environments before moving them to the Production. Work on SIL language and create power scripts for the team. Research third party plugins and find new features that won’t exist in native Jira and Confluence. Provide support to the users on the Jira and Confluence.

Will work in Irving, Texas and/or various client sites throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
