Security Manager

Location: Irving, TX | Duration: 11 months | Client: Leading Tech Giant

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead security and compliance initiatives, with a focus on ISO 27001 certification. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage projects independently, ensure rigorous documentation, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate ISO 27001 certification projects, including gap analysis, audit prep, and post-certification maintenance.
• Manage the full project lifecycle: set deadlines, assign responsibilities, track milestones, and unblock internal stakeholders.
• Prepare dashboards and reports to update leadership on project/program status.
• Work closely with AB and SDO teams to ensure conformity and readiness for audits.
• Support internal audits and contribute to ISO documentation creation.

Typical Day:

• 60% focused on hands-on ISO 27001 audit preparation and documentation
• 30% collaborative work with internal teams
• 10% meetings and reporting

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 7–10 years of experience in ISO 27001 certification programs
• Proven experience as a Project/Program Manager, able to deliver independently
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and practices

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with ISO 9001 certification
