DBA Mem SQL

  Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain MemSQL (Single Store) database environments
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries
• Manage backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
• Perform database capacity planning and scaling for high-volume workloads
• Ensure database security, access control, and compliance standards
• Work closely with application, Dev Ops, and infrastructure teams
• Automate routine DBA tasks using scripts (Shell, Python, etc.)
• Handle production support, incidents, and root cause analysis
• Maintain documentation and operational runbooks

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
• Strong hands‑on experience with MemSQL / Single Store
• Expertise in SQL performance tuning and query optimization
• Experience with distributed and in‑memory databases
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
• Experience with backup, restore, HA, and DR strategies
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
