We Are Looking ForThe ERP Technical Support Specialist will collaborate with our skilled team to troubleshoot, administer, and manage multiple instances of the Electronics Parts Distribution System (ePDS), a SQL Server‑based ERP solution. Additionally, this role will design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and queries to support our operational needs.
What You’ll Do- Support the troubleshooting, administration, and management of ERP systems
- Track and address reported issues using the ticketing system and assist users with inquiries
- Manage operator security and user access
- Develop SQL‑based reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and other relevant methodologies
- Assist in designing, developing, and implementing SQL databases to meet business requirements
- Write and optimize SQL queries for improved performance and efficiency
- Ensure data integrity and security in database management
- Identify and resolve database issues and performance bottlenecks
- Work with cross‑functional teams to gather database requirements and deliver solutions
- Maintain documentation for database schemas, procedures, and processes
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in database development and management
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong understanding of SQL concepts with experience in SQL Server, MySQL, or similar relational database systems
- 2+ years of experience with distribution‑based ERP systems
- Ability to analyze complex data requirements and design efficient database solutions
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for database‑related issues
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment
- High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast‑paced environment
- Knowledge of database design principles, experience with ETL processes, and familiarity with data visualization tools
- Familiarity with data warehousing principles and Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- Ability to navigate around multiple systems and tools
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
- ITAR Requirement
- 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. citizenship due to contract requirements.
