Our client, a leading technology and infrastructure services provider, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting Datacenter Engineering and Deployment teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality and safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Contract

• Prepare, stage, install, and perform startup/shutdown procedures for datacenter hardware following detailed instructions and safety protocols.
• Conduct post‑execution quality checks to ensure proper grounding, cabling, labeling, and equipment configuration.
• Monitor systems for performance issues, respond to error messages, and assist with debugging activities.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues, replace faulty components, and support routine refresh tasks such as memory upgrades and OS rebuilds.
• Document work performed, communicate incidents, and elevate issues to Datacenter Technician Leads as required.

• High school diploma/GED required; associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
• 1–4 years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and datacenter components.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and flex to non‑standard hours including weekends/holidays.
