Position Overview

A leading property & casualty insurance technology organization is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to drive enterprise cloud architecture strategy and design. This full‑time, 100% onsite role sits within a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment and focuses on architecting secure, scalable Azure solutions that power proprietary insurance platforms. The ideal candidate is a visionary technical leader with deep Azure expertise, strong .NET

development skills, and experience supporting regulated industries such as insurance or financial services.

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, and implement highly available Azure cloud solutions that support enterprise‑grade insurance systems.
  • Lead the Azure strategy, governance, and best‑practice adoption across the organization.
  • Oversee migrations, integrations, and complex deployments within Azure.
  • Implement and optimize Azure security controls, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates or Terraform.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev Ops.
  • Guide teams on microservices architecture and modern development patterns.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders, developers, and operations teams to align architecture with strategic objectives.
  • Continuously analyze and optimize cloud performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Provide leadership during architecture workshops, planning sessions, and innovation initiatives.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of IT architecture experience, with 5+ years focused on cloud solutions.
  • Deep expertise architecting solutions in Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience delivering technology solutions in insurance or financial services (regulatory environment familiarity).
  • Strong experience designing and managing microservices architectures.
  • Proficiency in SDLC methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong development foundation in C#/.NET, plus web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and XML.
  • Hands‑on CI/CD, release management, and automation experience with Azure Dev Ops.
  • Familiarity with Azure ARM, Terraform, Power Shell for Azure, Node.js, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with data tools such as Power BI, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Data Factory.

  • Previous experience supporting proprietary software platforms.
  • Background working directly with product teams in insurance technology.
  • Experience designing cloud solutions that balance performance, cost, and compliance.
  • Exposure to frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React.js.
