Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Lead / Test Automation Architect to drive quality engineering initiatives, define automation strategies, and guide teams in adopting modern testing practices, AI-driven capabilities, and Dev Ops-aligned automation workflows. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, solution design, mentoring ability, and collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Core Competencies- Work closely with business analysts and subject matter experts to understand business requirements thoroughly, helping the team resolve functional and technical queries.
- Identify key business processes and translate them into comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Develop and execute detailed testing strategies ensuring full coverage, timely execution, and high-quality outcomes.
- Provide regular testing status updates and report key quality metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and execution progress.
- Strong experience in Test Automation, CI/CD integration, Dev Ops processes, environment management, and risk management.
- Hands‑on experience with Git Hub Copilot, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI‑driven test design, and advanced prompting techniques.
- Ability to perform solution analysis and contribute to technical architecture discussions.
- Define the overall test automation strategy, standards, and best practices across projects and teams.
- Collaborate with development and Dev Ops teams to seamlessly integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Create end‑to‑end automation test strategies, test plans, and automation framework architecture for programs and large‑scale initiatives.
- Lead and mentor QA teams in automation tools, frameworks, and AI‑enabled testing methodologies.
- Guide junior testers by helping them understand application logic, improving testing practices, and encouraging broader adoption of automation.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing efficiency, effectiveness, and overall product quality using modern engineering practices.
- Leverage AI tools, LLMs, and automation accelerators to enhance productivity and accelerate test design and execution workflows.
- Proven experience in QA automation leadership or test architect roles.
- Deep knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, API automation tools, etc.).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions).
- Experience working with Git, Git Hub Copilot, or similar AI‑assist tools.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops concepts such as environment provisioning, monitoring, and release workflows.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: USD $75876- $97342/ Per Annum.
