DevOps Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC;

Hybrid: Onsite 3 days per week (required)

Duration: 24-month contract to start; strong potential for extension and/or conversion to full-time

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an experienced Dev Ops Engineer to support enterprise Infrastructure Engineering initiatives focused on CI/CD automation, developer tooling, platform integrations, and observability. This role will work within a modern Internal Developer Platform (IDP) environment and collaborate closely with engineering teams to enhance deployment pipelines, system reliability, and developer workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering, Dev Ops Engineering, or related experience
• Equivalent combination of consulting experience, military experience, training, or education will be considered
• Hands‑on experience with Harness, GitACT, GitSaaS, Checkmarx, Artifactory, Black Duck, and Sonar Qube
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and Dev Ops best practices
• Experience troubleshooting APIs, automation workflows, and system integrations
• Ability to analyze and resolve moderately complex infrastructure and platform issues

What You Will Be Doing

• Consult on and support moderately complex Infrastructure Engineering initiatives and deliverables
• Participate in large-scale planning and implementation efforts related to Dev Ops and infrastructure automation
• Review, analyze, and troubleshoot infrastructure and CI/CD platform challenges
• Support and optimize integrations between developer tools, automation platforms, and monitoring solutions
• Contribute to issue resolution while ensuring adherence to enterprise policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency
• Monitor platform health and proactively identify issues through observability and monitoring tools
• Support Internal Developer Platform (IDP) capabilities that streamline developer workflows and tooling integrations
