Role Overview

Reporting to the Program Management Leader, the IT Project Manager (P3) will own end-to-end delivery for multiple technology projects of moderate to high complexity—driving scope, schedule, budget, and cross‑functional execution from initiation through closeout. This role partners closely with Product and Engineering teams and works across stakeholder groups to align on priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver outcomes that enhance our Provider Portfolio solutions.

The ideal candidate is proactive and execution-focused, with strong organizational skills and the ability to independently drive delivery while appropriately escalating risks and decisions. They are comfortable operating in an Agile environment, collaborating across teams, and improving delivery practices over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the full project lifecycle for multiple concurrent projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, using established project management practices in a SAFe/Agile environment.
  • Define and manage project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource needs in collaboration with stakeholders, Product Owners, and Engineering leads.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans (e.g., using Smartsheet and Jira Plans), including schedules, budgets, RAID logs, communication plans, and change‑control processes.
  • Lead integrated planning across product, engineering, UX, QA, release management, and external vendors to ensure readiness for delivery milestones.
  • Manage delivery risks, constraints, and dependencies; provide transparent milestone tracking, decision logs, and status reporting with clear escalation when needed.
  • Coordinate non‑production issue triage sessions (e.g., WAR/MIM rooms) as needed across Dev, QA, and Staging to support release readiness and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate Planview updates for assigned projects, ensuring key milestones, dependencies, and project attributes remain current.
  • Ensure weekly time tracking is completed and reviewed for assigned teams; surface trends and variances to the Program Management Leader.
Stakeholder Management
  • Facilitate clear communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Serve as a liaison between Product Owners, Development Teams, and partner teams to maintain alignment on priorities, requirements, and delivery expectations.
  • Provide clear, concise communication on delivery status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to project stakeholders and leadership.
  • Plan and facilitate project governance routines (e.g., checkpoint reviews, milestone reviews, and steerco readouts), ensuring decisions and actions are captured and driven to closure.
Risk, Governance, and Compliance
  • Identify, track, and drive mitigation for project risks and issues; escalate blockers and decision points to leadership as appropriate.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and deliverables through integrated plans, clear ownership, and active follow‑up against timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, performance, and financial metrics; prepare regular status updates, dashboards, and stakeholder communications.
